Laura at Open Studio - Acrylic

This is the second painting that I completed at Open Studio.  It is a 16X20 acrylic painting.  I could not have done this in oil due to the drying time required.  Maybe when I have more experience I will try it in oil.
The first was a nude painting of another model.

Laura in Oil by Me and Edith Harrison

This was a joint effort with Edith Harrison my teacher. I am trying to develop this type of "painterly" style. It may take a few more years.

Another painting redone. This is a portrait of Laura, one of our favorite models, as she posed for us at the 2008 daVinci Days. Not yet a great likeness but I am getting closer.
