East Neuk of Fife

This is a 12X16 oil painting of East Neuk of Fife, a small fishing village in Scotland.  I visited Scotland a number of times when I was working at HP.

Boats In Scotland - Oil Painting

Back in the mid-1980s I was on a business trip in Scotland. After a meeting in Edinburgh one day we decided to drive around Scotland. After having dinner at a small fishing village we passed this harbor scene. It was about 10pm yet it was still quite bright. Scotland is further north than you might think. It was getting darker when we passed the St Andrews golf course.
This is an 18X24 painting based on photographs I made that day.
