Two Oil Paintings from Silver Falls State Park, Oregon

These 12X16 paintings were started during our recent paint out at Silver Falls which is near Silverton.  The first is the Lodge and the second is a bridge near South Falls.

Originally I made a watercolor painting of this scene.  I sold it last summer and decided to make another as a 20X24 oil painting.

Squirrel at Silver Falls Lodge

This is an update of a painting I did last year at our Silver Falls paintout. I updated the entire painting and then added the squirrel.

The painting is a 9X12 oil.

It has been a long time since I painted a watercolor. This is based on a photograph I took last summer of the North Falls at Silver Falls State Park near Silverton, OR.
