A couple of years ago we visited Peggys Cove in Nova Scotia. I saw this artist with his umbrella making a watercolor painting from the other side of the cove. I thought it would be a good oil painting.

I have been trying to complete a painting or drawing every day. So I make small 6X8 oil studies, as well as small drawings and watercolor paintings in my sketch book. These are a few of the oils.
