This is a 16X20 Oil Painting based on photos taken at Mirror Lake in Yosemite Valley.  We rode our bikes to the lake every morning during our stay in the valley.

We recently returned from our trip to Yosemite National Park.  After 4 days in the valley we returned with hundreds of photos and a few sketches ready for painting subjects.  We also discovered that free painting workshops are conducted in the valley all summer long.

The Other Half

Based on one of the photographs I took on our recent Yosemite trip I made this painting of Half Dome. I wanted to show that there is another half. It is a 16X20 oil painting.
